Sages End
Bulldog Season
DECATUR-- The ninth seeded Monticello
Sages scored the final ten runs Tuesday afternoon to end the Bulldogs season,
with a 10-1 victory. The Bulldogs jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the second
run but did not score after that.
Junior Chris Gillmar started for
the Bulldogs and was charged with 5 runs in 3 innings of work. Sophomore
Tony Glosser relieved Gillmar and pitched two innings allowing 3 runs.
Sophomore Bill Riebock finished the game for the Dawgs allowing 2 runs
in 2 innings.
The Bulldogs scored their only run
when senior left fielder Justin Morrison roped a triple off of pitcher
Justin Morrison. Morrison was driven in by the next batter, senior third
baseman Dan Jedlicka. Monticello advances to play the number one seeded
Clinton Maroons.
Thank You for supporting the
Dawgs!!
